We are teaching our youth class to become leaders while promoting a healthy lifestyle through Jiu-Jitsu. Our goal is to reinforce important life skills such as confidence, focus, discipline, courtesy, and respect through a series of class room instruction and functional drilling.

Students in our youth program will expand on their fundamentals, learn a multitude of offensive and defensive strategies, and begin to start applying both concept and theory in to their Jiu-Jitsu. This class will involve more mature content that is both age and skill level appropriate.

Note: New teens (no experience) ages 13 and older will need to attend our adult fundamental classes. The teens in our program have significant experience or they have moved from another academy with prior experience.


  • Learn how to apply submission holds and joint locks responsibly
  • Learn how to chain offensive and defensive techniques
  • Learn how to safely take someone down and out maneuver them
  • Learn how to properly escape pins and holds
  • Learn how to apply concepts and theory to Jiu-Jitsu
  • Participate in functional drilling and live grappling
  • Discuss various types of bullying and how to become less of a target
  • Lay the building blocks for becoming a leader, not a follower
